Vestiges: Fallen Tribes | Cinematic Lighting & Lookdev

Role: Cinematic Artist & Look Development
Project Type: CGI Announcement Trailer

Project Overview: Production of a high-impact cinematic trailer for Vestiges: Fallen Tribes (Wanadev Studio). The artistic challenge was to simulate a "high-end macro photography" look, treating the game assets like physical figurines to convey both tactile realism and epic scale.

Key Responsibilities:
- Macro Cinematography: Advanced camera work simulating physical lenses (Depth of Field, Bokeh) to ground the viewer in a "toy-scale" universe while maintaining dramatic intensity.
- Lighting & Lookdev: sculpting light to accentuate the material details (Gold, Bronze, Patina) and using particle FX to create a magical, suspended atmosphere.
- Character Posing & Animation: Breathing life into static game assets using Control Rig directly in the Sequencer to create dynamic, combat-ready poses.
- Rapid Production Pipeline: Complete execution of the trailer, from layout to final render within a strict 2-week deadline, demonstrating high efficiency and mastery of the Unreal pipeline.

Objective: To prove that a high-quality, narrative cinematic could be produced with a very short turnaround by leveraging the flexibility of Real-Time rendering (Lumen).

Tools: Unreal Engine 5.3, Sequencer, Control Rig, Lumen, Nanite, Movie Render Queue.
